## Generated 3D assets

The GLB models under `viz/dist/assets/models/` were created by MelaBuilt AI using
a paid Tripo subscription. Their source concept images were generated by the
project owner with ChatGPT from prompts inspired by the original Thought
Archaeology design.

OpenAI's Terms of Use state that, as between the user and OpenAI and to the extent
permitted by applicable law, the user owns output. Tripo's terms describe broad
rights for paid users to use generated output, subject in both cases to applicable
law, third-party rights, and the services' current terms.

Generated output may not be unique. Inclusion here is a provenance notice, not a
claim of exclusivity or endorsement by OpenAI, Tripo, or Three.js.

## Generated terrain textures

The ten PNG color textures under `viz/dist/assets/terrain/` were supplied by the
project owner for Atlas of Threads on 2026-09-07. They are generated artwork,
locally Lanczos-upscaled from 1254 × 1254 to 4096 × 4096 by Codex at the owner's
request. The supplied PNGs are included unchanged. These are color maps only;
no measured surface geometry or additional source detail is implied.

## Terrain-matched emergence bases

The ten GLB variants under `viz/dist/assets/models/emergence-bases/` were supplied
by MelaBuilt AI on 2026-09-12, using the matching generated terrain-base reference
artwork. Runtime copies preserve their supplied geometry and PBR material channels;
the existing asset importer resizes embedded maps to 1024 pixels. Original GLBs
remain in the owner's artwork archive. Each Threadwalk uses the base whose filename
matches its assigned terrain texture. See the adjacent manifest for source and
runtime checksums.

## Cinematic audio

The 33 OGG sound effects and 13 OGG music tracks under `viz/dist/assets/audio/`
were supplied by MelaBuilt AI for Atlas of Threads on 2026-09-08. The score,
**The Unwritten Atlas**, contains a main title and twelve companion pieces.
The supplied production handoff attributes generation to ElevenLabs Music v2
and Sound Effects, with local mastering by Codex. The 21 redesigned existing
effects include a restrained layer of their original application cues; twelve
new effects replace the earlier procedural sounds. Runtime OGG files are
included unchanged from the supplied masters. Archival originals, WAV/MP3
copies, production requests and receipts remain outside the source repository.

The two additional `expedition-charge.ogg` and `expedition-launch-blast.ogg`
accents were synthesized by Codex for MelaBuilt AI on 2026-09-19 using original
oscillator/noise synthesis, without external recordings. Their reproducible source
is `online/scripts/build-expedition-audio.py`. They add an overworld charging rise
and liftoff blast; the supplied flight recording remains unchanged.

## Online Atlas visual references

The project's generated Atlas artwork, supplied by the owner on 2026-09-10,
informs the animated neural field's palette, branching filaments and glow.
The reference image used in the first preview was removed at the owner's request;
no static background artwork is included in the online world. The neural field,
traveling lights and orbital halos are rendered in Three.js. Original Atlas
models and terrain textures retain their credits above.
